Information about Modena
Modena is located in northern Italy in the region of Emilia Remagna. Modena has a temperate climate with hot, humid summers with little rainfall—very similar to the weather in Georgia. There are approximately 180,000 people living in Modena. Modena has a rich history and is complete with its own University, Duomo, piazza, and characteristic Italian architecture. The city is the perfect size to make it navigable for students, but large enough to ensure that there is plenty to explore. It is nearby many popular Italian sights such as the Ferrari factory, Parma, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, and Verona.
