S3ITE: Professional e-Portfolios
The Eportfolio assignment is the capstone experience of the secondary social studies teacher education program. Eportfolios are aligned with NCSS and G-STEP standards and serve as statements of what beginning social studies believe about teaching social studies, and what they can do in the classroom, at the conclusion of the program. The Eportfolio assignment was added to the program in the 2003-2004 academic year.
