UGA and Modena Schools.  A Cross-Cultural Study Abroad Experience in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  May 9 to June 4, 2008, in Modena, Italy.

Participants will have a unique opportunity to work with pre-school and elementary school students and teachers in Modena, Italy, a city located between Milan and Bologna in northern Italy.  This Maymester Study Abroad opportunity will enable participants to experience Italian culture and to compare and contrast the American and Italian systems of early and elementary education.  For information, contact the directors: Ron Butchart (butchart@uga.edu) or Beth Tolley (btolley@uga.edu).
