Non-Course Experiences

In all graduate program levels it is recommended, if time permits, that students gain relevant non-course experiences. These include: 1)internships in the Academic Computing Center where students assist faculty and advanced doctoral students in the College of Education with ongoing research projects; 2)supervised internships and practica in program evaluation in a variety of settings (e.g., mental health centers, school systems, University Counseling and Testing Center); 3)seminars centered on special topics in research design, evaluation, measurement, and statistical methods; and 4)individualized reading or independent study.
