Master of Arts (M. A.) The Master of Arts in Educational Psychology (M.A.) degree is primarily intended for students who wish to pursue more advanced degrees and conduct research; it has a more theoretical and research oriented emphasis than the M.Ed.

Equivalent courses may be substituted for those listed with equivalence determined by the student’s advisory committee. If equivalence is so determined, a written statement regarding equivalence is to be added to the student’s file.
