General Degree Requirements

The Ed.S. degree program consists of a minimum of 30 graduate level semester hours. Students must maintain a 3.0 average in all graduate courses in their programs of study. During the course of their program of study, students are required to complete an applied project in which they apply the skills and knowledge they have developed during the program to the solution of a problem within their professional field. A presentation of the results of the applied project serves as the basis of a comprehensive oral examination which is required by the Graduate School at the end of the student's program.

Additional requirements of the Graduate School are listed in the UGA Graduate School Bulletin.
