Admission Requirements

The decision to admit an applicant to a degree program is based on a careful review of the entire application. The goal statement and letters of recommendation are particularly important. GPAs and test scores are required as per the following:

International applicants must also take the TOEFL exam. The minimum score for this exam is 213 for the computer version, or 550 for the printed version.

The Graduate School requires a graduate application for admission, $50 application fee, and evidence of a Bachelor's degree. It is important to track your application online to make sure everything arrives on time.

General Degree Requirements

The Master's degree program in Instructional Technology at the University of Georgia consists of a minimum of 36 semester hours. Students must maintain a 3.0 average in all graduate courses in their programs of study. During their program, students are required to develop a portfolio of products which reflects the skills that they have developed and the knowledge they have gained within the program. The portfolio serves as the basis of a comprehensive oral examination which is required at the end of the student's program.
