Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT)

Statement of Purpose

We are committed to discovering ideas, innovations, and technologies to shape the future of education. We prepare scholars and reflective practitioners to study how learning research and theory is enacted in practice, and how to advance learning theory through design and technology.

We offer masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees. Our students aspire to be college professors, school library media specialists, K-12 technology leaders, instructional designers, or multimedia developers. Our graduates work in K-12 schools, business and industry, higher education, and many other formal and informal environments.

Prospective students are encouraged to read more information about these degree options by visiting the following LDT areas:

LDT Doctoral (Ph.D.)
Instructional Design & Development (M.Ed. & Ed.S.)
School Library Media (M.Ed. & Ed.S.)

Note: Our program is formerly known as Instructional Technology.
