Introduction

The Master of Arts in Educational Psychology (M.A.) degree is primarily intended for students who wish to pursue more advanced degrees and conduct research; it has a more theoretical and research oriented emphasis.

The department and program requirements are listed below as a guide. Additional courses will be added to the program of study according to an individual student's needs as determined by the student, his/her advisor, and the other members of the advisory committee. Equivalent courses may be substituted for those listed with equivalence determined by the student's advisory committee. If equivalence is so determined, a written statement regarding equivalence is to be added to the student's file.
