
Jonathan Templin, Assistant Professor
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and
Instructional Technology, as part of the Research, Evaluation, Measurement,
and Statistics Program. My research focuses on the development and
application of general latent variable and mixed models in psychological and
educational research. In particular, I am interested in methods for
diagnostic assessment (also called cognitive diagnosis) and how such methods
may be used to gain insights into understanding examinee mastery in
educational settings, diagnose psychological disorders in behavioral
settings, and classify individuals generally.
