OIT LDT Doctoral and Research Master’s

The UGA Learning, Design, and Technology program (formerly Instructional Technology) is widely known for its outstanding research-focused doctoral experience, boasting graduates at top universities and professional organizations around the world. In addition to the doctoral level, a recent expansion of the research focus in LDT is the research-oriented M.Ed. degree track that is designed for master’s-level students who would like to eventually apply for a doctoral degree.

The Instructional Design & Development emphasis area in Learning, Design, and Technology (formerly known as “Instructional Technology”) provides students with knowledge of cutting-edge computer and multimedia technology and its application in diverse educational contexts, such as K-12 education, higher education, and training situations in business and industry.

kid School Library Media

The School Library Media emphasis area within the Learning, Design, and Technology Program provides individuals with professional level skills in the organization and application of resources to the solution of instructional problems within schools and leads to Georgia certification for K-12 Library Media Specialists.
