The College of Education at the University of Georgia is a research-intensive place. At any given time, faculty members have dozens of different funded research and outreach projects underway, spanning the breadth of the college from counseling and communication sciences to teacher education and kinesiology. As we advance new knowledge we also have a commitment to communicate that research to a broader audience.
In the following pages you will find our Education Research Briefs and Education Policy Briefs, which are short, easily accesible digests of faculty research that are mailed to school districts and education scholars across Georgia and throughout the country.
We hope that these Education Briefs will lend insight into the type research and outreach that is at the heart of the College of Education.
