The mission of the College of Education includes conducting research and developing professional preparation programs that empower our graduates to become leaders in educational improvement. In many areas, however, our research and development initiatives may be of more value when we are engaged in collaborative work with school district leaders. The Superintendent’s Education Policy Advisory Group was created to facilitate improved communication and understanding of issues between college faculty and district executives.
