Why Give

Graduate Assistantships

Currently many of our undergraduate students benefit from HOPE Scholarships, but our graduate students are not quite as fortunate. Although HOPE does provide assistance in some critical areas of education, for the most part, the students bear the load of the cost of their graduate work. The College's ability to offer assistantships at the graduate level not only provides needed financial assistance, but also enables the College of Education to attract and recruit the very best students.

Chairs and Professorships

The quality of the College of Education's programming is directly related to the quality of our faculty. To continue to attract and retain the very best faculty, we need to provide chairs and professorships. These endowed funds provide the faculty member with funds for teaching and research, equipment, research assistants, and other professional activities.

Alumni who make gifts to the College of Education invest in our College, our teaching, and most importantly, our students. There are a number of ways in which alumni can make a difference with their gift. Please contact the Office of Development with any questions you may have regarding a gift to support the College of Education.
