Welcome to CUSPA Laboratory
The UGA Global Educational Forum for globalization on culture, research, and teaching provides a medium through which campus-wide faculty members share their research studies and teaching engagements to enrich our cross-cultural understanding and participation in global environments. The Forum also provides students with an opportunity to communicate their dissertations, masters’ theses or independent studies related to, or completed in, global contexts.
Concerned about security overseas and have an interest in development broadly conceived? This year’s Global Educational Forum is for you. Security–a timely topic given current state of affairs worldwide–is broadly defined to include not only the welfare of ordinary people but also nations. Development concerns human and material resources used to advance individual and nation’s economic and social progress. Both development and security frame scholarship of scholars engaged in the state of the art research to address emerging issues affecting many nations worldwide, including use of national resources and technological advances.
This year’s Forum presenters come with a wealth of expertise. We have exemplary scholars within our UGA campus to address security and development issues as we prepare our graduates to function effectively in the emerging global economy. The scholars come from many colleges and schools within UGA campus.
