B.S.Ed.

Students will earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Education with an emphasis in Special Education, General Curriculum. Upon completion of the General Curriculum emphasis program of study, students will also be highly qualified in the content area of language arts.

The General Curriculum emphasis is offered:

  • At the Athens and Griffin campus: hybrid programs including both face-to-face and on-line course work. All students are required to complete field experiences in a classroom setting each semester.
  • On-line: course work is delivered fully on-line. However, all students are required to complete field experiences in a classroom setting each semester. Students have a minimum of three required meetings on the Athens campus that span the duration of their program.
