NSSLHA National Student Speech Language Hearing Association
NSSLHA is the only official national student association recognized by our field's national organization, ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). ASHA is the guiding force behind curriculum standards and all professional standards in our field. It bestows the accreditation earned in school and official CCC-s (Certificate of Clinical Competence). Movement from NSSLHA to ASHA membership is the logical step to take after you are awarded your Master's degree and prepare to move fully into your profession.
