CS-PFP 10 Training

Information

  • Two-day training is conducted for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people.
  • At least one administrator or supervisor is required to be trained. It is recommended that one additional person be trained in order for each lab to have a minimum of two people in each facility. In addition because this training is extensive, we recommend that one person demonstrate longevity in their respective program through a permanent position such as a faculty member or research assistant.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required for each participant registration.
  • The training includes pre-workshop materials for setting up the laboratory at the participant’s site and a demonstration DVD.
  • Pre-workshop materials mailed a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the scheduled workshop include the following:
    • CS-PFP-10 CD-ROM of site set-up and standard operating procedures
    • CS-FPP-10 Demonstration video – healthy older adults
      • Additional videos that are available on special populations include: CS-PFP -10 Demonstration video – hip fracture 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks ($75 each)
    • CS-PFP-10 Task Instruction View & Learn
    • CS-PFP-10 Safety Considerations DVD
  • The CS-PFP10 interactive workshop includes a didactic presentation on the validation of the CS-PFP and CS-PFP10, an interactive training on each task, training time for practical test administration, and a final competency test on ability to administer the test independently.
  • The training includes consultation on setting up the site and follow-up questions.

Costs

$475 / participant for the training workshop.
$325 / set of 3 DVDs, 1-CD-ROM, and workshop notebook
$1,500 Data reduction Software and license (available January 2009)
Temporarily, until software is available data reduction will be completed by sending the data in a SPSS file or Excel file to mecress@uga.edu; reduced data will be returned to you within 1-2 days

CS-PFP 16 training

For the CS-PFP16 special arrangements can be made for an additional ½ workshop to follow the CS-PFP10 workshops.
