Wilma Harrington, an associate professor in P.E. and Sports Studies, delivered the 33rd Amy Morris Homans lecture Jan. 8 at the annual conference of  the National Association For Physical Education in Higher Education in San Diego, Calif.
    Harrington, who came to UGA in 1980, delivered an address entitled,  “Our Collective Future: A Triumph of Imagination.”  The delivery of the Homans lecture has been considered one of the highest honors afforded by the NAPEHE since 1967.
