Studly
scientists sought -
Studmuffins of Science
The call has gone out for auditions for the Studmuffins of Science calendar
for Y2K. Karen Hopkin reports that she is "looking to stage a promotional
event in conjunction with the AAAS
meeting in Anaheim later this month, and would like to have old
and new studmuffins on hand to get people excited about the coming calendar."
Hopkin says she is looking for sources from universities who can recommend
attractive male science-types who are willing to participate in the event.
Sources will also be considered as candidates for the Studmuffins 2000
calendar, she says. Scientists may also be needed for the already scheduled
Annals of Improbable Research event, which will be on Friday, January 22,
from 8:15 to 10 p.m. Those who can't make it to the California event can
send photos and biographical information to the Studmuffin post office
box. Leads are needed by January 15.
Entries, recommendations and information can be directed to Karen Hopin
(khopkin@nasw.org). Address: Studmuffins
of Science, PO Box 3061, Grand Central Station, NY NY 10163.
