Staff Members Receive Training On New Financial Template

Thirty-five College of Education staff members received training on the new departmental financial template to be used in the new reorganization. This tool will be used by the financial staff in the nine new departments to track all of the expenses and sources of funds.

The template has been designed by Lisa Vander Kooi in the Business Office to:

• automate the reconciliation process to the status report.
• track detail expenditures by category
• summarize and consolidate the data
• provide valuable real time financial information for the department heads
• help project income and expenses
• provide real time balances for allocations of GA's, Summer School and part time instruction

The staff are now trained to take on the financial positions in the new COE departments.
