Please bring your lunch and join us for an informal presentation and discussion on the law concerning religious freedom in public educational institutions. This presentation will discuss the current status of the law concerning church-state separation and freedom of religion. We will also explore the increasing religious diversity in our society and the implications of growing religious diversity for our public educational institutions. Both history and current events clearly demonstrate the dangers of religious intolerance. Come and join us, as we explore how laws and policies in educational institutions can be used to promote more peaceful and just resolutions of disputes, and how our attitudes and beliefs about religious diversity can promote a more peaceful and just society.
