OIT To Hold Open House Sept. 16-17

The College of Education's Office of Information Technology (OIT) will hold a two-day Open House  September 16 and 17.  During the Open House to be held in Room 232 Aderhold Hall, OIT staff members will offer several sessions dealing with the integration of technology into our daily routines.

There will be a technology integration session held on both days that will highlight the technology integration efforts of several COE faculty members.  Technology is changing the way we teach, the way we learn, the way we communicate, and also the way we administrate various aspects of our personal and professional lives.  Come discuss these new directions with your colleagues currently involved in making technology work to their advantage.

Additional sessions will cover the instructional implications and how-to's of our new wireless system, Horizon Live, WebCT, digital video, digital photography, our new videoconferencing/multimedia suite, and much more.

Open House sessions will be coming to Ramsey and Rivers Crossing in the near future.  However, OIT encourages all faculty, staff, and students in these two locations to visit the open house on either the 16th or the 17th.  You will notice that we have set up varying times on Tuesday and Wednesday to accommodate most schedules.
