Jennifer Lease, a 2003 graduate of UGA’s Student Affairs Administration doctoral program received the Outstanding Dissertation Award at the Southern Association For College Student Affairs Conference.
Lease's dissertation was titled, “Defining Friendships: Peer Relationship Among Female College Honors Students.” Her major professor was Diane L. Cooper, professor and department head of counseling and human development services.
Lease is now associate director of the Honors Program at the University Connecticut.
