A discussion on white supremacist groups titled, "From White Sheets to Cammies to the Internet, But the Same Old Hate," will be led by E.M. Beck, professor of sociology and director of the Avignon Study Abroad Program, on Thursday, February 27 at 12:10 p.m. in Room 430 of Aderhold Hall.

While maintaining their traditional anti-black orientation since the 1980s, many white supremacist organizations
have modified their public presentations as well as become more multicultural in their hate rhetoric. More
recently many have moved from the streets and public demonstrations to the internet.

The discussion is sponsored by the College of Education's Multicultural Education Initiative.
