Video Brown Bag: MLK's 'I Have A Dream' Speech

A video of  Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech with social commentary will be presented by Talmadge Guy, associate professor of adult educcation and the Adult Education Multicultural Committee on Wednesday, January 29 at noon at River's Crossing.

The "I Have a Dream Speech" was given nearly 40 years ago.  This video provides an analysis of the social context within which the speech was given as well as a video representation of the speech itself given by King during the historic 1963 March on Washington. We will discuss the video and the relevance of King's vision for race relations in America today.

The event is sponsored by the College of Education's Multicultural Education Initiative and the department of adult education.
