UGA professor Carl Glickman and Clarke County schoolteacher Ellen Sabatini were honored by the Georgia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development March 1.

Glickman, a professor of social foundations of education in the College of Education and founder of the League of Professional Schools, received the 2001 Quality Educational Leadership Award in recognition of his cumulative accomplishments.

Sabatini, a third-grade teacher at Alps Road Elementary School who is working on her doctorate at UGA, was recognized as an outstanding individual who is currently enrolled in a graduate program in educational leadership.
