New Databases Available in the Hargrett Library : The Hargrett Library, housed in the Special Collections Library, has opened the Historical Maps Database. This collection features more than 1,000 historical maps, some dating to the sixteenth century. Georgia materials make up the bulk of the collection.

In addition, the Hargrett has released a new database of Historical Broadsides. The Libraries own more than 2000 of these, dated from 1746 to the 1980s.
