  • Lynda Is Now Available: Lynda, the online library of training courses, is now available. Lynda supplements Element K and offers a great way to learn new software. Vist lynda.uga.edu and select “Log in to lynda.com”.

  • Maps of New Jersey: Hallie Pritchett, the Map & Government Documents Librarian, sent along a link to satellite imagery of New Jersey showing pre- and post-Sandy.

  • PW’s Best Books of 2012: Interested in seeing what the best books of 2012 are? PW (Publisher’s Weekly) has that very list.

  • Libraries & Thanksgiving: The holidays are coming up and the Libraries will have different hours. Thanksgiving Week:

    • Main & Science Libraries—November 19-21—closing at 6pm

    • CML: November 19-21—closing at 5pm

    • Main, Science & CML—Closed November 18, 22 & 25

    • Main & Science—Open Friday November 23, Noon-6pm

    • CML—Closed November 22-25

    Don’t forget that books drops are available at all the Libraries and any University System library materials can be returned to the book drops.

    INTERLIBRARY LOAN MATERIALS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE LIBRARY WHERE YOU PICKED UP THE MATERIAL.
