  • ‘Tween the Pages Reopens: The snack bar in the Main Library, ‘Tween the Pages, will officially reopen on Monday, October 15th. No more working and starving at the same time.

  • Mercer Cluster Now Part of GALILEO: The Digital Library of Georgia and the Mercer University Libraries are pleased to announce the availability of a new online resource: The Mercer Cluster Archive. The Mercer Cluster Archive is an online database of Mercer University’s Macon campus newspaper that provides access to over fifty years of the publication ranging from 1920 to 1970. Consisting of over 5,000 newspaper pages, the archive provides images that are both full-text searchable and can be browsed by date. The images were scanned from microfilm held by the Mercer University Libraries’ Special Collections.

  • Where’s Reference? Main Library Reference Service is now available just off the lobby of the Main Library. Walk in and you really can’t miss the librarians waiting to help. Come see the renovations in the Main & Science and ask a question or two along the way.

  • Tour the Special Collections Vault! The regular Tuesday Tour at 2 p.m. of the Richard B. Russell Special Collections Libraries is being enhanced Nov. 6 for a peek inside the subterranean 30,000-square-foot vault holding the collected treasures of Georgia’s past. The first 40 people to reserve a spot will be given access. To make a reservation, contact Jean Cleveland at jclevela@uga.edu. Part of the Spotlight on the Arts Festival.
