Paula Deen at the Special Collections Library: Moving beyond a web presence, the Special Collections Library will have a television debut on NBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” May 18 at 8 p.m. The new University of Georgia Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries gets a star turn in the episode as the scene for much of the filming, which took place in March. Documents at the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library were used in tracing Deen’s heritage, which is the focus of the episode.

Main Library Renovations: For the latest on the renovations in the Main Library, please visit the Libraries’ blog. Also, Food Services has closed “’Tween the Pages”, but has set up a temporary food “station” in the lobby of the Main Library.
