Don’t Forget Your Librarians: Just like rust, Librarians never rest. We’re here in the summer, all day, every day. So, if you’re teaching a summer class or two, invite us to come and increase your students’ awareness of all the Libraries have to offer. It’s free. And even fun. Nadine Cohen & Carla Wilson Buss are ready to help your students produce papers along the lines of Krylon: No Runs, No Drips, No Errors. Ah, where’s Johnny Bench when we need him? Wait! Here he is!

Renovations to Main & Science Libraries: It may seem that we just finished talking about The Big Move (see Special Collections Library for more information on that topic), but we’ve got more moving news. The Main & Science Libraries are both undergoing some major renovations this summer, starting in May. While the construction is ongoing, things will look a bit different in both Libraries. In Main: Circulation & Reserves will be moved to the 7th floor and the Leisure Collection & Current Periodicals will move to the 2nd floor. Science Library Government Documents will be permanently relocated on the 4th floor. Also, the Food Services operation in the Main Library, Tween the Pages, is closed until Fall and the EITS lab has been closed as well. To keep up with all the changes, visit the Renovations Page or subscribe to the RSS feed.

But that’s not all: Bus service to the Main Library is being disrupted by road construction on Jackson St. in front of Baldwin Hall. According to Campus Transit, buses will now turn at the street by Human Resources. Athens Transit is still working out their plans, but they will post information on the changes at the regular stops. Stay tuned for more details.
