About Tutoring at Fowler Drive Elementary

CLASE began supporting after-school tutoring programs at Fowler Drive Elementary School in Fall 2007. This initiative is part of our broader research agenda focusing on reducing the achievement gap between Latino and other students, and our goal is to achieve one-on-one tutoring conditions with students at this site. Tutoring includes homework help, literacy activities, and fostering students’ mastery of academic English.
