We invite submissions of proposal abstracts for both individual papers and complete panels on topics devoted to the conference theme, “Setting the Policy and Research Agenda,” as well as on topics related to Latino education and immigration policy defined broadly.

 Abstracts should be 250 words or less, and
one of the following types of presentations should be selected upon submission

VIEW PRESENTER GUIDELINES

  • 15 minutes per paper
  • 3-4 papers per panel session (grouped according to theme by conference organizers)
  • Discussant provided by conference organizers
  • 20-30 minutes of discussion at the conclusion of all authors’ paper presentations
  • Digital projector and laptop available; please bring your presentation on a flash drive
  • 15 minutes per paper
  • 3-4 papers per panel session (pre-grouped by submitting authors)
  • Discussant named by submitting panel
  • 20-30 minutes of discussion at the conclusion of all authors’ paper presentations
  • Digital projector and laptop available; please bring your presentation on a flash drive
  • Individual authors present a paper in graphic form
  • Throughout a one-hour session, authors will have the opportunity to discuss their work informally
  • Text should be limited to brief statements
  • AV equipment not provided
  •  Authors present a paper or work-in-progress in an informal, roundtable setting
  • 40 minutes in length
  • Authors should bring multiple copies of their papers so as to receive feedback
