Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Courtland Lee, Professor & Director of Counselor Education at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Lee is president of Chi Sigma Iota, the International Association for Counseling, past president of the American Counseling Association, and an expert on multicultural counseling.

Program Highlights:
This year, our annual conference will continue to focus on best practices, resources and knowledge for effectively counseling Latino students, but also will extend to include counseling work with African Americans, LGBTQ issues, and students with disabilities. Each strand will include sessions on advocacy, research, personal/social development, awareness, practical application, and student achievement. Additionally, poster sessions will highlight exemplary programs, and a student panel will help put “faces” on these issues.
Poster Sessions:
We will have poster sessions and resource tables with materials and
information on programs and resources of interest to attendees.
Registration:
$75.00 per person. Registration and fee must be received by February 5, 2008.
Accepted poster presenters and University of Georgia graduate students may register at a discounted rate of $45.
