UGA Griffin Campus – Blended Delivery Option

Mission:

This degree provides graduates with expertise to guide student learning in career and technical education for both academic and industry settings.  The program addresses 21st century skills needed to:

  1. Manage careers within a global economy,
  2. Cultivate work ethic and communication skills, and
  3. Develop capacity for innovation

Program Overview:

This is a 36-semester hour degree program, consisting of 12, 3 semester hour courses.  Two courses will be taught each academic term (including summers).  Each of the courses will be taught using a hybrid delivery format with online classes (75%) and face-to-face (25%) class meeting times. Face-to-face class meetings will take place during four weekends during a given semester (typically the 3rd week in each month of the school term). The face-to-face class sessions will take place on Friday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the UGA Griffin campus (http://www.uga.edu/griffin/). Students may wish to find local accommodations during the face-to-face class meetings in Griffin, GA, this will be the responsibility of individual students.  The remaining class sessions will utilize the UGA online learning management system as well as other available on-line resources to maintain communication between faculty and students as learning and additional instruction is accomplished.
