HERE IS A STEP-BY-STEP ACCOUNT OF HOW TO APPLY TO THE LDT RESEARCH MASTERS PROGRAM:
- Be sure that the LDT Research Masters program is right for you by reviewing the information on our web site. You should contact the Program Coordinator, if you have any general questions or concerns. You may also contact other faculty with questions or just to talk about your goals and whether our program is right for you.
- If you decide to apply, contact the Graduate School. All of the forms (Application, Recommendation letters) can be obtained from the UGA Graduate School’s Application Web site. There is also a complete on-line version of the UGA Gradute Bulletin. Specific questions about completing the application should be directed to the Graduate School. They can be reached by e-mail (gradadm@uga.edu), or phone (706-542-1739).
- Complete the application form and submit the application fee directly to the Graduate School Admissions Office. You are applying to the M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, non-certification. Our graduate school code is 454. (Note: Although we have changed our working name from Instructional Technology to Learning, Design, and Technology, the Graduate School still “knows” us as Instructional Technology.)
- Contact every college you attended and have them send two official transcripts directly to:
Office of Graduate Admissions

Admission to each cohort is expected to be competitive, so take some time with this. Imagine that you are speaking to our Admissions Committee when you write this (it is usually the first thing that is read). This statement can be sent directly to the program coordinator at:

These letters can be sent directly to the Program Coordinator (forms are included in the application packet from the Graduate School or from their web site).
- Complete all of the required application materials so that they are received by the announced application deadline.
