The decision to admit an applicant to a degree program is based on a careful review of the entire application. The goal statement and letters of recommendation are particularly important. All international applicants must also take the TOEFL exam.
*For information about the new GRE test introduced in 2011, and comparison of new scores to the previous score guidelines, during this transition please see the Educational Testing Service website, specifically the FAQ section about the new GRE, including concordance information. Note also that the analytical section of the GRE is not used in the admissions decision.
The Graduate School requires a graduate application for admission, $75 application fee for domestic applicants and $100 for international applicants, and evidence of a bachelor’s degree.
