Professional Counseling, Specialization: School Counseling, M.Ed.

Co-hort Program

Students enter and go through the program as part of a cohort group, which permits sharing of experiences and provides social and emotional support for the duration of the program.

Being part of a cohort means:

  • You will always be identified with the cohort group you start the program with and cohort members will have a special means of identifying with one another...you'll see!
  • Everyone in your cohort will begin the program in Summer Session.
  • You can count on the classes you need being offered approximately 2-3 nights a week for two years usually beginning after 4:30PM. Summer classes meet 4 times a week for 8 weeks during the day.
  • Beginning 2007 the School Counseling Master's program will be full-time.

Each cohort is its own unique support system that results in a collegial learning environment.
