Welcome Visitors Geoff Peraman, Director of Continuing Education at the University of Canterbury, was hosted by Mike Tarrant on March 25-26th to discuss the possibility of an Institute for South Pacific Studies at UGA. Paul Constable, Director of the Institute for Tourism and Hospitality Studies in the Universite de Savoie, France, met with John Dattilo on April 25 to discuss possibilities for student exchanges. Ami Cho, a visiting scholar at Penn State from Korea, met with John Dattilo, Douglas Kleiber and Jaekwon Na during the week of June 13-19th to discuss her interests in leisure education and her project to translate the text Leisure Education Program Planning into Korean.
