MARK YOUR CALENDARS Fall 2002 RLST Recognition Banquet Alumni, students, faculty, and friends, please join us at the Fall RLST Recognition Banquet scheduled for Friday, December 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Georgia Center. We will present the RLST Outstanding Student Award, the RLST Distinguished Alumni Award and other recognitions. RSVP brendaa@uga.edu NRPA Awards Celebration Douglas Kleiber is the recipient of the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) 2003 Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt Award given to a distinguished scholar whose research contributions are of the highest quality, as judged by academic and professional peers, and whose research contribution represent productivity sustained over time. He will be presented with the award at the Awards Celebration Event of the NRPA Congress held on Thursday, October 23rd from 5:30-7:30 P.M. in St. Louis.
