Independent research project examining the personal and professional experiences of counselors in training and their effects on multicultural counseling dyads using the Cross-Cultural Autobiography. Collected and analyzed data from a large sample (n=183) of masters level students in an introduction to multicultural counseling class. Completed interpretations of results and presented the results at the American Psychological Association's 1995 Annual Convention in New York, New York. Additionally completed an analysis of a within group sample of 126 white counselor trainees to assist in making recommendations for the revamping of multicultural training of the predominately white female students in counselor training programs. Results presented at the American Psychological Association 1996 Annual Convention in Toronto, Canada and prepared two manuscripts for publication submission.

Participated as part of a research team investigating perfectionism in college students headed by Dr. Robert B. Slaney. Assisted with data collection by performing qualitative interviews on self identified subjects at Pennsylvania State University. Collected data at Howard University utilizing a test battery of perfectionism, career development, and social desirability scales to gather information about the Slaney Almost Perfect Scale of Perfectionism on African-American college students.

Served as a rater on a Black identity scale based on Nigrescence Theory of racial identity developed by Dr. William Cross (1971). Offer psychoeducational programming in the area of Eating Disorders, led a weekly support group for Women of Color, and served as a consultant to: 1) the office of Multicultural Affairs, 2) The Office of Student Life & Greek Affairs and 3) The Athletic Department/ Women's Basketball Team. Taught 5 three-week sections of an Alcohol Offenders class and presented at a weekly Staff meeting on "Reflection During Internship Experiences." Revitalized the SAFE ZONE project by developing the 100 page training Manual, designed the Ally Placard, and served as the Trainer for the Ally program at the College.
