something extremely important to consider. Many complexes will have a

monitored alarm in each apartment. Other complexes do not offer any
security or precautionary measures. We suggest you talk to other
residents in order to get information about safety. But, first and
foremost, you must feel comfortable with the area and what is provided so you
feel safe in your home!! Here are some other tips to keep in
mind:
- Lock your doors at all times when you are not at home and
at night
- Know your neighbors
- Report any suspicious activity immediately
- Never open your door to strangers
- Look around you - Always be aware
- Ask for identification from maintenance and utility
company employees before allowing them to enter your apartment
