Welcome to the second on-line edition of the Georgia Journal! Even though the newness may have worn off a bit, I am still excited to bring you articles from your colleagues, including original research, a description of an assessment program, and a book review. You will also find the submission parameters listed in this edition. I look forward to reading submissions from established and aspiring authors. I am also happy to work with first-time (or second- or third-time) authors with questions.

I would like to thank Drs. Roger Winston and Diane Cooper for their able guidance and expertise lent to the Georgia Journal -- both “on stage” and behind the scenes -- for several years. They have left a legacy that I hope to continue.

Finally, I would like to thank the editorial board who so ably helped midwife this issue: Ralphel Smith, Josh Skillman, Carla Dennis, Jon Coleman, Jan Davis, and Sheri King. Their help was invaluable.

This journal belongs to the student affairs professionals in Georgia, so I hope you will offer your feedback and, more importantly, submit articles, book reviews, and other pieces for consideration. I also hope you will communicate ideas for future issues, topics you would like to read about, and potential authors we can invite to submit manuscripts.

Best regards,
Teresa Raetz
