The EdD program requires applicants to have a student affairs related master’s degree. In the event applicants do not have a student affairs related master’s degree, the faculty ask that applicants provide evidence of completion for one of two options:
1. In collaboration with the Georgia College Personnel Association (GCPA), we are pleased to announce fifth year of the Student Affairs Foundations Institute (SAFI). SAFI is designed for student affairs practitioners working in Georgia who may not have a formal training in student affairs.
Again this year, the Institute will take place through four day-long workshop sessions which occur between October and February. Participants who successfully complete SAFI will be recognized by GCPA. To date, we have over 140 SAFI alumni representing many Georgia colleges and universities.
Please share the attached information and application with anyone in your student affairs division who may be interested in participating in this wonderful opportunity. Your commitment to identifying strong and interested potential participants remains key to SAFI’s success.
The deadline for applications is Friday, August 16. Details regarding submission are included in the enclosed materials. Applications may be completed at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SAFI.
If you have questions of any kind, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Alicia Caudill and Dr. Andy Wilson
