Centennial Committees
The COE Centennial Website was developed and created by Troy Bassett and Michael Childs. Video was produced and directed by Ron Braxley. We'd like to think each department for developing and submitting their history timelines.
We wish to thank Bob Jerrolds, professor emeritus and author of The History of the College of Education, The University of Georgia, from which much of the written material on this website originated and Steven Brown, director of The Hargrett Rare Books & Manuscript Library / University of Georgia Libraries for his assistance in obtaining many of the historic photos.
We would also like to thank members of two committees who contributed to this website—The Faculty Centennial Group and the Centennial Logistics Planning Group.
