COE Centennial Highlights

Classic Center Officially founded on June 13, 1908, the College of Education has evolved from its early beginnings to a world-class research-extensive institution with nearly 5,000 students in more than 50 fields of study relating to education and health. The College will officially celebrate its Centennial at a special luncheon at the Classic Center in downtown Athens on June 13, 2008.

UGA Golf Course

Centennial Golf Tournament
The College of Education Centennial Golf Tournament will be held on June 12, 2008 at the UGA Golf Course. Deadline for reservations May 28, 2008.

Hosted by the Department of Kinesiology

Centennial Alumni Whale Watch Trip
Environmentalism through the practice of contextual learning and teaching. An incredible opportunity for alumni or retired faculty to spend a week (June 18-22, 2008) in Gloucester, MA., making daily whale watching trips. Just for fun and light learning. Space remains for seven people. Deadline for reservations May 1, 2008.
