Action: Action Team

From the very beginning of the Partnership Action Teams have been formed to help inform, guide and direct some of the work and changes at the Partnership schools. Action Teams in the areas of:

CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION & ASSESSMENT
CALENDAR/MODIFIED TIME
COMMUNITY AND FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
PROFESSIONAL/STAFF DEVELOPMENT & PERSONNEL
EDUCATOR PREPARATION

were established at the beginning of the Partnership and contributed greatly to many of the innovations and efforts currently in place at the Partnership schools. Needs and foci that surfaced during the Fall 2004 retreat for the Partnership schools led to the formation of new Action Teams in the areas of:

LITERACY
MATHEMATICS
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
SPECIAL AREAS
NEW VISIONS

The Action Teams are formed of members from the Partnership schools, CCSD administration, community, UGA, and families of Partnership school students. If you are interested in getting involved in an Action Team please contact Jenny Oliver at jpo@uga.edu.
