Student Application Information - Deadline December 15, 2007

Student must have a valid passport which will not expire within 6 months of departure. A visa to Taiwan is not required.

Please send an e-mail to atsa@uga.edu to request a program application.

Ensure the following items are included in the application materials you return:

1. All pages of the completed and signed application.
2. One (1) official copy of your UGA (or home institution) transcript.
3. Two (2) completed reference forms or letters (references must be from your Program Director and 1 Clinical Instructor and should be included with your application in a sealed envelop).
4. 1-2 page essay.
5. Required $595 deposit as a check made payable to University of Georgia.
6. Copy of your passport or date of application for your passport
7. Make sure you have read and initialed the refund/cancellation policy on page three of the Application.

Transient Student Information (Non UGA Students)

If you are not already a UGA student, you should apply to be accepted as a transienttransfer student once you are accepted into the study abroad program. Acceptance notification will be sent out by mid-January.  We will send out information about the application process upon acceptance into the program.  However, more information about this process can be found at http://www.uga.edu/oie/satransient.htm .  There is a $50 application fee for all transient students and a $250 surcharge for non Georgia residents or for those who do not attend a college/university in Georgia.
