Student Application Information - Deadline December 7, 2012
Student must have a valid passport which will not expire within 6 months of departure. A visa to Taiwan is not required.

Ensure the following items are included in the application materials you return:
- All pages of the completed and signed application.
- One (1) official copy of your UGA (or home institution) transcript.
- Two (2) completed reference forms or letters (references must be from your Program Director and 1 Clinical Instructor and should be included with your application in a sealed envelop).
- 1-2 page essay.
Once a student has been admitted (notifications sent out December10), a $600 deposit is required - a check made payable to University of Georgia and mailed to:

- Copy of your passport or date of application for your passport
- Make sure you have read and initialed the refund/cancellation policy on page three of the Application.
Transient Student Information (Non UGA Students)
Students who are not currently enrolled at UGA must apply as a transient student. This is an online process at http://www.uga.edu/oie/sa_transient_under.htm and there is a $60 application fee and a $250 surcharge for non Georgia residents or for those who do not attend a college/university in Georgia. You should complete Transient Student application as soon as you are accepted into the study abroad program.
