Application

Student Application Information - Deadline December 7, 2012

Student must have a valid passport which will not expire within 6 months of departure. A visa to Taiwan is not required.

Please send an e-mail to atsa@uga.edu to request a program application.

Ensure the following items are included in the application materials you return:

  1. All pages of the completed and signed application.
  2. One (1) official copy of your UGA (or home institution) transcript.
  3. Two (2) completed reference forms or letters (references must be from your Program Director and 1 Clinical Instructor and should be included with your application in a sealed envelop).
  4. 1-2 page essay.

Once a student has been admitted (notifications sent out December10), a $600 deposit is required - a check made payable to University of Georgia and mailed to:

    The University of Georgia, Bursar’s Office
    424 East Broad Street
    Athens, GA  30602

  1. Copy of your passport or date of application for your passport
  2. Make sure you have read and initialed the refund/cancellation policy on page three of the Application.

Transient Student Information (Non UGA Students)

Students who are not currently enrolled at UGA must apply as a transient student. This is an online process at http://www.uga.edu/oie/sa_transient_under.htm and there is a $60 application fee and a $250 surcharge for non Georgia residents or for those who do not attend a college/university in Georgia. You should complete Transient Student application as soon as you are accepted into the study abroad program.
