A Study Abroad Experience Designed Specifically for Athletic Training and Pre-Physical Therapy Students

May 13 – June 3, 2014

The University of Georgia Athletic Training Education Program in association with the National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) is offering a study abroad experience specifically designed for athletic training students. The program is available to undergraduate and graduate students in athletic training and will provide the student with classroom knowledge and clinical experiences. The academic program will focus on traditional Asian therapies to include acupressure massage, pain relief techniques, acupuncture, rehabilitation techniques and cranial therapy. The clinical program will provide athletic training observation and hands-on experience with Taiwan Athletic Trainers Society certified athletic trainers with NTSU intercollegiate teams and at physician offices. The program is limited to 20 students.
